Holy cow!!! Check out this video that Odyssey just posted on their site. They took their new Thunderbolt cranks and put them in a crazy testing machine to see how strong they actually are. On top of that, they also tested some of the other BMX cranks currently available on the market. The results may surprise you! Need some real world testing results as well? The legendary James Nutter of Credence Bikes has been known to break a crank or two in his day. Mr. Nutter has been on these cranks for a while now and seems to like them just fine. Sunday just released a flipbook for the new 2012 Complete Bike line. Trusted bikes like the PRO, EX, AM and Scout are in there as well as some new treats for you. First, the Spark is the new starter bike designed with the most modern geometry that will get the newest rider excited about BMX. Next, the Model C has been updated to a 22″ top tube, a 14.625″ rear end length and 7.75″ bar height. Lastly, this might be the best complete bike ever! The new Forecaster Special combines the best aftermarket parts package with aftermarket Sunday Forecaster frame, Morning 2.1 forks and Tall T bars. Available towards the end of October, but we are PRE-BOOKING NOW.

Odyssey‘s newest peg is in stock and shipping now! The Rifle Peg is internally spiral bored, like a rifle barrel. The pegs are also constructed from ultra-light 7075-T6 aluminum. As an avid peg fan, I was very excited when I got the opportunity to try 4 of these pegs on my bike.

The date for the Mike Tag cancer benefit jam being held at The Garden in downtown Chicago, IL has been changed to SATURDAY SEPT. 24TH at 2:00PM. There will be a Sunday X Catty Woods edition Scout up for raffle as well as a bunch of other great prizes from Sunday, Odyssey, Mutiny, Trail Pirate Co and plenty more goodies from the guys at Fourty Distro. Can’t thank The Garden locals enough for putting in work on one of the wettest summers trail guys have witnessed in the midwest and north east. Come ride the jumps and have an awesome time!
